About Natasha

Natasha grew up dancing ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance. She danced professionally in musicals, music videos, and concert dance and discovered Latin dance while living in New York City. At the time, she couldn’t tell you the difference between on 1 or on 2 salsa, but loved following the musicality of her dance partners and the social aspect of the salsa scene in NYC.

After Natasha moved back to Columbus 4 years ago, she started taking salsa and bachata and actually committed to learning the styles.

This is Natasha’s first time teaching Latin dance and utilizes her jazz and formal dance training to inform her teaching style with students.

She has a passion for turns and ladies styling and finds the overlap in the history of jazz dance, salsa dance, jazz music, and salsa music to inspire her. Teaching her students how to listen to the music and have a sense of timing is essential to every class.

Natasha wants all of her students to feel welcomed, encouraged, and most of all have fun!
